About Me

I am a 13 year old graphics designer and soon-to-be web designer. I live in Regina, Saskatchewan. My name is Taha Khokhar, and this is both my first week and first year attending the MSI Computer Camps. As well as being a motion designer, I operate a small gaming and graphics YouTube channel. I came to this camp, hoping to learn more about computers and all the ways I can utilize them. Prior to this, I had already been doing graphics for a little bit over a year. I had first become interested in computer graphics when I discovered a close friend of mine, who is a fellow YouTuber, had the ability to create CGI. I asked if he could teach me, and so it began! Ever since then, I have been continuously learning more and more about creating CGI, and I have been told by others that I have improved tremendously in the span of a year. My new interest in computer graphics had lead me to believe that I needed a way to introduce myself at the beginning of every video. In other words, I needed an intro. I made one intro, and, let's just say, it wasn't very good. After watching numerous After Effects tutorials, I made a new intro for myself, and the feedback was amazing! People began requesting me to sell channel graphics to them, and so I did. I started an intro making business, although I didn't charge any money for them, since I was unable to collect any money. Intro after intro, more and more people would request my graphics. This leads me to the 'new era' of my channel, where I made an intro which suddenly got very popular. On that one video, which is now my most popular video, the comments section was flooded with intro requests! And here is where my experiences continue. Now, I have a method of collecting money, and using the knowledge that I received from Comp Camps, I plan to make a website where I can sell my graphics!
